The Legend Group is comprised of Legend Equities Corporation, Legend Advisory Corporation, LEC Insurance Agency, The Legend Group, Inc., Legend Group Holdings, LLC, and Advisory Services Corporation (herein after "Legend").
Legend is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of nonpublic personal information entrusted to us by our customers. We take every precaution to protect your privacy and make sure that information obtained from you is only used within the strict guidelines below. If you close your account or become an inactive customer, our privacy policy will continue to apply to you.
Information We Collect: Nonpublic personal information we collect about you may include:
- Information we receive from you on standard forms related to your accounts, such as your address, date of birth, Social Security number, financial goals, assets and income.
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
- Information received from credit or service bureaus or other third parties, such as your credit history or employment status.
Our Disclosure of Your Information: We do not disclose your nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated companies who intend to market their products to you. Legend will not disclose information regarding you or your accounts, except under the following circumstances.

- To our staff and representatives; Legend may permit Registered Representatives, Solicitors and Investment Advisor Representatives that terminate their affiliation with Legend to retain copies of their client files.
- To our parent company, Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc., or their affiliates, as permitted by law.
- To entities that perform services for Legend or function on Legend's behalf, including financial service providers (e.g., mutual fund companies, insurance companies); non-financial companies (e.g., software developers); and others (e.g., consulting firms).
- To your employer or its contracted third-party administrator pursuant to an information sharing agreement.
- To third parties who perform services or marketing on Legend’s behalf or to financial institutions (such as banks, credit unions, thrifts and trust companies) with which we have joint marketing agreements. These companies are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use the information only for the services required or as allowed by applicable law.
- To other non-affiliated third parties as permitted or required by law. For example, we may disclose information to law enforcement agencies, insurance and securities regulators, or to anyone who represents you in a fiduciary capacity (i.e. attorney, trustee, etc.).
- Except in those states where the law does not permit, Legend may disclose your nonpublic personal information in connection with the transfer of your account to another financial institution at your request or the request of your representative. If you do not want Legend to disclose your nonpublic personal information with your representative’s new financial institution, please contact the Legend Compliance Department at (800) 749-4321 to opt-out of this information sharing.
Note: If your address of record is in a state that requires your written approval to allow the sharing of your nonpublic personal information with a new financial institution, Legend will obtain such approval before sharing such information.
How We Protect Your Information: Legend has policies that restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those employees, associates and others who need to know that information to provide products and services to you and perform their respective duties. We employ physical and electronic safeguards to protect your nonpublic personal information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy: Legend reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this privacy policy at any time. Written notice of any material variation in our privacy policy will be sent to the address of record for all existing customers before any changes are implemented.
